The heating furnace of VRL-L heat treatment lines adopts V-shaped inclined rollers, which enables the furnace to have a heat straightening function: under high temperatures, the constraint of the furnace rollers on the raw material can improve its straightness during the heating process. Adopting the self preheating burner heating system, the furnace temperature is accurately controlled.


The quenching machine adopts an annular air or water ring to achieve an all-round strong and uniform cooling of the treated materials, ensuring the quenching depth and straightness of the material and reducing the straightening process. According to demand, the tempering heat treatment furnace can be equipped with either V-shaped inclined rollers or flat rollers, and there is a cooling device behind the tempering furnace to avoid material brittleness during tempering.


In addition, The VRL-L series heat treatment line can be configured with Heat Treatment Line Remote Service System (RDMS) and Industrial Furnace Production Data Intelligent Analysis System (FDAS).

The heating furnace of the VRL-S heat treatment line adopts multiple V-shaped inclined rollers, which enables the furnace to have a heat straightening function: under high temperatures, the constraint of the furnace rollers on the raw material can improve its straightness during the heating process. Thanks to the recuperative burner heating system, the furnace temperature is accurately controlled while achieving energy conservation and emission reduction.


According to demand, the tempering heat treatment furnace can be equipped with either V-shaped inclined rollers or flat rollers, and the tempering furnace is equipped with a cooling device behind to avoid material brittleness during tempering.

ROLLER HEARTH FURNACE FOR WIRE ROD COILS WITH PROTECTIVE GAS

WRF series heat treatment line is suitable for various heat treatment processes such as spheroidal annealing and softening annealing of wire rod coils of bearing steels, cold heading steels, spring steels, and alloy structural steels. Adopting nitrogen as the protective atmosphere, WRF series heat-treatment line employs a strong convection indirect heating system by utilizing recuperative burners with radiation tubes in conjunction with an air guide system with high-temperature circulating centrifugal fans. The material is evenly heated and cooled during the heat treatment process, after which the surface is smooth and slightly decarburized, effectively avoiding possible surface cracks during the subsequent wire-drawing process. According to the process requirements and material specifications, WRF is equipped with a vacuum lock chamber and automatic loading and unloading equipment.

ARES HEAT-TREATMENT TECHNOLOGIES FOR SILICON STEEL STRIPS

Decarbonizing Annealing Line (DCL): Cold-rolled strip steel is heated to the annealing temperature in a radiant tube furnace (RTF), slowly cooled to 600 ℃ with a cooling rate controlled at 10 ℃/sec at first, and then rapidly cooled below 100 ℃. The atmosphere inside the furnace is hydrogen (up to 75%) and nitrogen, and the protective atmosphere can be humidified, or a proper amount of ammonia gas can be introduced to achieve decarburization or nitridation of the strip steel. After annealing, the surface of the steel strip will be coated with MgO, and finally, the coating will be dried and cooled to the ambient temperature.


Final Hot-stretching and Flattening Line (FCL): 


After being coated with insulation coating, the strip steel is heated to around 700 ℃ by an open flame, then it proceeds into the radiation tube (RTF) and is heated to the process temperature, holding for a period of time. After that, the workpiece is slowly cooled to 600 ℃ with a cooling rate controlled at 10 ℃/sec and then rapidly cooled below 300 ℃. In this section of the furnace, nitrogen and hydrogen are used as protective atmospheres in the RTF. Finally, the strip steel is cooled to 80 ℃ using air jet cooling (AJC) after having been discharged from the furnace.


Annealing Line for Non-oriented Silicon Steels (ACL):


Cold-rolled steel strips are heated to the annealing temperature through a radiant tube furnace (RTF) or an open flame non-oxidation heating furnace and are uniformly heated for a certain period of time. The atmosphere inside the furnace is hydrogen and nitrogen, or a humid atmosphere is added to control the degree of decarbonization. After that, strips are slowly cooled to 600 ℃ at the beginning and then quickly cooled to 80 ℃. After annealing, the surface of steel strips will be coated with insulation coatings which will be dried and sintered afterwards.

ROLLER HEARTH FURNACE FOR PLATE

PRF Roller Hearth Furnace for Plates is suitable for heat treatment processes of normalizing, annealing, quenching, tempering, etc. of bridge plates, ship plates, track plates, and other plates.


Depending on different needs, ARES PRF can be driven in two different ways: the entire line is driven by a single reduction motor, or each single roller is independently driven by a reduction motor. The drive system is equipped with a frequency control of motor speed and a material tracking system to accurately track the position of materials in the furnace. Heating methods are divided into two types: radiation tube heating under the protective atmosphere or open flame heating. The combustion system adopts a self-preheating high-speed burner combined with pulse combustion control to ensure temperature uniformity and to save fuel. The automation control system has functions such as material tracking, temperature control, protective atmosphere measurement and control, and production reports issuance. According to user requirements, PRF furnaces can be equipped with an online mathematical model for the heating process simulation. According to requirements of different heat treatment processes, PRF can be equipped with roller-pressing continuous quenching machines, intermittent pressure quenching machines, and online control cooling devices accordingly.

ROTARY HEARTH FURNACE

ARES RHF rotary hearth furnace is suitable for heating of pipe billets, castings, and forgings, heat treatment of coils, wheels, castings, forgings, and silicon steels, as well as high-temperature reduction of direct-reduced iron, whose maximum furnace temperature can reach up to 1400 ℃. Features of RHF

A double-deck fan-shaped furnace bottom frame structure is adopted to effectively reduce the high temperature external expansion from the furnace bottom and to ensure long-term stable operation of the equipment.

 

The patented support rollers, centering rollers, and transmission devices ensure smooth operation of the furnace bottom and highly accurate positioning of materials inside the furnace.

 

The optimized design of refractory materials for the furnace body can effectively prevent the high temperature external expansion from the furnace hearth, the lower temperature of the furnace wall and top, and reduce energy consumption significantly.

 

Hydraulic motor drive enables high torque to be achieved. Multiple motors running synchronously, combined with a material tracking system, positioning of materials in the furnace is more precise.

A new high-temperature flameless combustion system has been adopted to achieve low NOX emissions, meeting environmental requirements.

 

The degree of automation is so high that the entire process of charging and discharging and the control of the combustion system can be completed automatically without manual intervention.
