T7 HEAT TREATMENT LINE FOR AL-ALLOY CASTINGS
Roller hearth T7 heat treatment line for Al-alloy castings is engineered specifically for the solid solution and aging heat treatment process of aluminum alloy thin-walled structural parts such as shock towers. To accommodate varying workpiece dimensions and weights, options include single-layer baskets, automated stacking multi-layer baskets (Patent No.: 2016214624611). The system utilizes adjustable air quenching to optimize both the rate and uniformity of cooling, thereby minimizing the risk of workpiece deformation.
A high-quality combustion system not only curtails energy consumption but also keeps NOx emissions to a minimum. Enhanced by strong convection circulation and a pulse combustion control system, the line rapidly heats while preserving excellent temperature uniformity within ±3℃ in both the solution and aging furnaces. Adopting continuous production mode, the process is stable with higher temperature control accuracy and better temperature uniformity.
The cooling speed is fast. The workpiece temperature drops below 200 ℃ within 2.5 minutes, and the quenching transfer time is less than 10 seconds. Appropriate charging baskets are designed based on the shape of the workpieces to ensure minimal deformation during the heat treatment. ARES patented high-efficiency jet cooling device is of high cooling efficiency.
