T5 HEAT TREATMENT LINE FOR AL-ALLOY CASTINGS

ARF frameless continuous T5 aging heat treatment line (Roller hearth furnace), the patented product of ARES(Patent No.: 2016214652471), is suitable for the aging heat treatment of aluminum alloy automobile engine block and other parts. ARES has developed a double-deck roller hearth structure based on the single-deck pass-through heat treatment line according to the needs of users. After adopting the double-deck operation mode, the furnace occupies a smaller area and consumes less energy per unit of production, which is a new generation of aging heat treatment equipment for aluminum alloy engine blocks.

 

A high-quality self-preheating combustion system results in low energy consumption and low NOx emission. Strong convection circulation and pulse combustion control system accelerate the heating speed while maintaining good temperature uniformity  within ±3℃, avoiding over-burning of workpieces and reducing their deformation. ARES patented high-efficiency jet cooling device (Patent No. 2018208551627) is of high cooling efficiency. The discharging temperature of the workpiece is only 10℃ above the ambient temperature. In addition, the furnace is designed and manufactured in accordance with the CEN - EN 746-2 Industrial thermoprocessing equipment - Safety requirements for combustion and fuel handling systems to ensure safe use of the equipment.

According to the thickness and shape of different workpieces, water quenching or air quenching can be selected to ensure better product performance. A high-quality self-preheating combustion system results in low energy consumption and low NOx emission. Strong convection circulation and pulse combustion control system accelerate the heating rate while ensuring a tight temperature difference of +3/-5℃ in the solution furnace and ±3℃ in the aging furnace. This control minimizes the risk of over-burning and deformation of the workpieces. The continuous production mode offers stability with high temperature control precision and uniformity. Moreover, The quenching transfer time is under 15 seconds (from the opening of the furnace door to all workpieces entering the water) to ensure process requirements and workpiece quality. T7 HEAT TREATMENT LINE FOR AL-ALLOY CASTINGS

Roller hearth T7 heat treatment line for Al-alloy castings is engineered specifically for  the solid solution and aging heat treatment process of aluminum alloy thin-walled structural parts such as shock towers. To accommodate varying workpiece dimensions and weights, options include single-layer baskets, automated stacking multi-layer baskets (Patent No.: 2016214624611). The system utilizes adjustable air quenching to optimize both the rate and uniformity of cooling, thereby minimizing the risk of workpiece deformation.

 

A high-quality combustion system not only curtails energy consumption but also keeps NOx emissions to a minimum. Enhanced by strong convection circulation and a pulse combustion control system, the line rapidly heats while preserving excellent temperature uniformity within ±3℃ in both the solution and aging furnaces. Adopting continuous production mode, the process is stable with higher temperature control accuracy and better temperature uniformity. 

 

The cooling speed is fast. The workpiece temperature drops below 200 ℃ within 2.5 minutes, and the quenching transfer time is less than 10 seconds. Appropriate charging baskets are designed based on the shape of the workpieces to ensure minimal deformation during the heat treatment.
